OHIO — Authorities are investigating a serious crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV that left one person with life-threatening injuries Thursday night.
According to early reports, the crash occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 1 and County Road 29.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and located the motorcycle rider suffering from critical injuries. The rider was initially transported to Mary Rutan Hospital before being transferred to a larger medical facility in Columbus for further treatment.
Officials have not released the identity of the rider or provided an update on their current condition. It is also unclear whether the driver of the SUV was injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities say additional details will be released as they become available.
