
MICHIGAN — A Stanton man was killed in a fiery crash involving a semi truck early Tuesday morning, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. on Stanton Road. Authorities said a semi truck was traveling eastbound when a Hyundai Elantra crossed into the eastbound lane and was struck by the semi.
Following the collision, the Elantra caught fire.
The driver of the car, a 30-year-old Stanton man, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The driver of the semi truck sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
