NORTH CAROLINA — A North Carolina Lottery player is holding a winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 following Saturday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers drawn June 13 were 3, 13, 44, 50, 53, with Powerball number 2. The drawing also featured a Power Play multiplier of 4x. At the time of the drawing, the jackpot was estimated at $257 million, with a cash value of approximately $115 million.
The North Carolina-winning ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the Powerball to secure the $50,000 prize. Information about where the ticket was purchased has not yet been released.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the jackpot, allowing the grand prize to continue growing for the next Powerball drawing.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. North Carolina lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully to see if they are among the latest winners from Saturday night’s drawing.
