MINNESOTA — An 18-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday night in Long Prairie, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities identified the victim as Bryan Rodriguez.
The crash happened when Rodriguez was driving east off Riverside Drive and crossing Highway 71 when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed, the state patrol said.
Investigators said Rodriguez was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and died at the scene.
Rodriguez was the only person inside the vehicle, and authorities said alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
