ALABAMA — An 18-year-old Tuscaloosa resident was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night in northern Tuscaloosa County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on Yellow Creek Road near Alabama Highway 69, approximately 14 miles north of Northport.
Authorities said the teenager was driving a pickup truck when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned as it re-entered the road.
Investigators said the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
