ILLINOIS — Two winning Powerball tickets were sold in Illinois for Saturday night’s drawing, including one worth $100,000 and another worth $50,000, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers for the May 9, 2026, Powerball drawing were 15, 41, 46, 47 and 56, with the Powerball number 22. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $48 million jackpot. The jackpot’s cash value was estimated at $21.5 million at the time of the drawing.
Illinois lottery officials said one ticket sold in the state matched four white balls, the Powerball and included the Power Play option to win $100,000. Another ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball to win a $50,000 prize.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night.
