
VIRGINIA — A 66-year-old woman has been charged after two people were stabbed Saturday afternoon in Petersburg, according to police.
Officers with the Petersburg Bureau of Police responded around 12:33 p.m. to the 400 block of Roundtop Avenue following reports of a stabbing involving a man and a woman.
When officers arrived, they found both victims suffering from injuries that were described as non-life-threatening. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police arrested Gail T. Johnson, 66, in connection with the incident. She has been charged with two counts of malicious wounding.
Johnson is currently being held without bond and is awaiting a court appearance.
