VIRGINIA — Two people were injured in an early-morning shooting Wednesday at an apartment complex in eastern Henrico County, according to police.
Henrico Police said officers were called to Old Bronze Drive just after 3:40 a.m. on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators later learned that a man also arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound connected to the incident.
Both victims are recovering, police said.
Authorities have not released information about a suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing.
