Two people injured following shooting incident in Maryland

MARYLAND — Two men were injured in a shooting Wednesday night in northwest Baltimore, according to Baltimore Police.

Police said officers responded around 9:18 p.m. May 13 to the 3400 block of Reisterstown Road for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment. Police have not released details about his condition.

Investigators later learned of a second victim connected to the shooting. According to police, a 38-year-old man was found in the 2400 block of Dukeland Street with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police said the man drove himself from the 3400 block of Reisterstown Road after being shot. He was also taken to a local hospital for treatment.
