
ALBAMA — Two people were injured in an early morning shooting Monday in Huntsville, according to the Huntsville Police Department.
Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. April 20 to the 1000 block of Oster Drive for a report of a possible shooting in progress. When they arrived, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Authorities said the man was taken to a hospital for treatment and is listed in serious but stable condition.
During the investigation, officers learned the shooting stemmed from an altercation between the victim and a suspect. Police located the suspect nearby, who was also suffering from a gunshot wound.
The suspect was also transported to a hospital. No additional details about their condition have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
