KENTUCKY — Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a crash involving a school bus in Ohio County, according to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the crash in the 13000 block of U.S. Highway 231 after receiving reports of an injury accident involving a school bus.
Authorities said the school bus had stopped to pick up a child when another vehicle struck the rear of the bus.
The female driver of the other vehicle was taken to Owensboro Health Hospital for treatment. A monitor on the school bus was also transported to a local hospital with possible injuries.
Officials said no children on the bus were injured in the crash.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
