
NORTH CAROLINA — Police in Durham are investigating a carjacking and shooting that left two people injured early Sunday morning on Lynn Road.
According to police, officers responded around 6:10 a.m. to the 70 block of Lynn Road after receiving reports of a carjacking involving a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived, they found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. A second man was also located with injuries that investigators said were caused by an assault.
Both victims were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police said the vehicles involved in the incident have since been recovered. No information about possible suspects has been released.
