FLORIDA — Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a man and a woman were found dead in Plant City on Wednesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the area of James Melvin Drive, where the two individuals were discovered deceased.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims. Investigators confirmed the deceased were a man and a woman.
In a statement, the sheriff’s office said detectives remain at the scene and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
“At this time, all individuals believed to be involved have been accounted for, and there is no known threat to the public,” the sheriff’s office said.
No additional details about the cause or manner of death were immediately available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
