
INDIANA — Two people are dead and several others injured following a mass shooting in downtown Indianapolis, according to police.
The shooting occurred late Friday night, sending five people to the hospital. A sixth victim later walked into a hospital seeking treatment.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, though police have not yet identified the victim or released their age.
Of the six injured, authorities say three were juveniles. One of the juveniles later died at the hospital.
Police detained seven individuals for questioning, but it is not yet known if any were involved in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
