KENTUCKY — Two people died following a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle Saturday afternoon in Campbellsville, according to Kentucky State Police.

Troopers said the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. June 20 on the Campbellsville Bypass near Walmart.

A preliminary investigation indicates that Ann Copass, 57, of Greensburg, was attempting to turn left when her vehicle struck a motorcycle operated by Christopher Penoyer, 35.

Investigators said Penoyer’s motorcycle collided with the driver’s side door of Copass’ vehicle.

Copass was pronounced dead at the scene by the Taylor County Coroner’s Office.

Penoyer was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the crash.
