MARYLAND — Two men have been arrested following a months-long investigation into a drug trafficking operation in Cecil County, Maryland, and southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, authorities announced.

Maryland State Police identified the suspects as Alishawaine Monk, 34, of Port Deposit, and Ronald Dugger, 45, of North East.

Both men face multiple charges, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a drug trafficking crime.

They are currently being held without bail at the Cecil County Detention Center.

According to police, the investigation was conducted in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Police.

Authorities identified Monk and Dugger as suspects and obtained search warrants for several properties tied to the drug operation.

On April 18, troopers executed the warrants at the suspects’ residences and other locations. The searches led to the seizure of a significant quantity of drugs and weapons, including:

  • 10 firearms, one of which—a Bushmaster AR-15—was reported stolen from Hagerstown
  • 810 grams of cocaine
  • 307 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • Drug packaging materials, a digital scale, and a vacuum sealer
  • Multiple firearm magazines, accessories, and ammunition

The investigation remains active and ongoing, officials said.
