VIRGINIA — Authorities have identified the third victim in the April 8 shooting on Olde Greenwich Circle as 19-year-old Sincere Devon Fitz of Spotsylvania County, according to an update from the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.

The juvenile suspect who had been hospitalized following the incident has since been released and is now in custody at the Rappahannock Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

He faces charges including Malicious Wounding, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Unlawful Assembly.

In addition, four other individuals have been charged in connection with the shooting. The suspects include two 16-year-olds, a 17-year-old, and 18-year-old Jeremiah Upson of Caroline County.

Three of the suspects, all from Spotsylvania County, are being held without bond. One 16-year-old remains hospitalized with a gunshot wound and will be taken into custody upon release.

The three confirmed deceased victims are:

  • 18-year-old Chase Feaster of Spotsylvania County
  • 18-year-old Alonzo Goffney of Spotsylvania County

Authorities say the shooting stemmed from an illegal gun sale that turned into a robbery. Deputies responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m. on April 8, where they found multiple victims with gunshot wounds.

Three were pronounced dead, and three others were transported to local hospitals.

The investigation remains active. The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office thanked the Fredericksburg Police Department, Virginia State Police, and the community for their support and assistance during the case.
