OHIO — Authorities arrested three individuals Friday after executing a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Jefferson Street.
On February 21, 2025, the Sidney-Piqua Tactical Response Team served the warrant at 327 Jefferson St.
Once the scene was secured, officers from the Sidney-Shelby County Drug Task Force, Sidney Police Department, and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search of the home.
During the search, law enforcement seized methamphetamine, two handguns, and $889 in cash.
Due to poor living conditions, the Shelby County Dog Warden removed several dogs from the residence.
The following individuals were arrested and taken to the Shelby County Jail:
- Rodney A. Land – Having Weapons While Under Disability (F3), Possession of Drugs (F5)
- Kathy J. Cook – Possession of Drugs (F5)
- Karen S. Schloss – Possession of Drugs (F5)
