
PENNSYLVANIA — More than 2,700 customers across Pennsylvania are without electricity as of Tuesday morning, according to outage data from PowerOutage.us.
The outage tracking website reported 2,726 homes and businesses without power statewide out of more than 6.7 million customers being monitored. Pennsylvania currently ranks eighth in the nation for the total number of outages and 14th for the percentage of customers affected.
Delaware County reported the highest number of outages with 625 customers without power. Potter County followed with 311 outages, while Somerset County reported 227 customers affected. Other counties with notable outages included Montgomery County with 208 outages and Warren County with 192.
Among utility providers, FirstEnergy reported the largest number of outages with 1,237 customers without service. PECO Energy reported 1,102 outages, while PPL Electric Utilities reported 240 customers without electricity.
PowerOutage.us said Warren Electric Cooperative had the highest percentage of customers affected statewide, with about 0.46% of its customers without power Tuesday morning.
Utility crews continue working to restore service across the state.
