
IOWA — Six people were taken into custody Tuesday following two drug busts conducted by the Oelwein Police Department with assistance from the Iowa State Patrol.
The first search warrant was executed around 3:30 p.m. in the 10 block of 1st Avenue NE. Four people were arrested, and illegal substances were seized.
James Crawford, 65, and Christina Heins, 49, face charges including possession of methamphetamine, child endangerment, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alanda Starkey, 40, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, child endangerment, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Taylor Johnson, 25, faces charges of child endangerment, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The second search warrant was served around 5:00 p.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street SE, resulting in two arrests and seizure of illegal substances.
Marissa Woods, 25, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture or deliver cocaine, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garrett Boleman, 39, faces charges of possession of marijuana, interference with official acts, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both cases remain under investigation.
