GEORGIA — Six Northgate High School students were involved in a rollover crash Thursday morning in Coweta County, according to school officials.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. in the 300 block of Vaughn Road. Officials said emergency responders arrived quickly and provided medical care to the students at the scene.

At least two of the students were airlifted to area hospitals. Their conditions have not been released.

Authorities shut down the road as they investigated the crash. Aerial video from the scene showed a heavily damaged sedan being towed and a nearby power pole that appeared to have been struck. Skid marks were also visible leading toward the pole.

Officials said additional information about the crash would be released by the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation continues.
