LOUISIANA — A Silver Alert has been issued for an 81-year-old man who was reported missing from his home in Opelousas, according to Louisiana State Police.
Authorities said Lee Darbonne was discovered missing from his Flamingo Lane home around 10:30 a.m. Monday. State police received a request to issue the Silver Alert at approximately 7:42 a.m. Tuesday.
Darbonne is described as a white male with short gray hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 215 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and gray shorts while carrying a brown cane.
Family members told investigators that Darbonne has a medical condition that may impair his judgment.
Authorities believe he may be driving a silver 2020 Jeep Gladiator with Louisiana license plate RL02106.
