LOUISIANA — Louisiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 66-year-old woman from Lafayette Parish.
According to troopers, Christine Jakubek was reported missing from her home on Cameron Street in Lafayette. Authorities said she was discovered missing around 3 a.m. Saturday, and the Silver Alert was issued Sunday morning on behalf of the Lafayette Police Department.
Jakubek is described as a white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. Police said she was last seen wearing an “American Mama” shirt and gray capri pants.
Investigators said Jakubek has a medical condition that may impair her judgment. Family members told police she walks with a cane and is believed to be on foot.
