TEXAS — Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a missing Austin man whose disappearance is believed to pose a threat to his health and safety.
According to the Austin Police Department, 73-year-old Steve Granado was last seen around 10 a.m. Saturday near the 500 block of West 10th Street in Austin.
Granado is described as a White male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
Police said he was last seen wearing a pale yellow shirt and black-and-gray checkered pajama pants.
The Texas Alert Network issued the Silver Alert after authorities determined Granado has a cognitive impairment and may be in danger.
Anyone with information regarding Granado’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Austin Police Department immediately.
The search remains ongoing.
