INDIANA — Authorities are searching for a 21-year-old man with autism who was reported missing after he was last seen riding a bicycle near his home in Highland.
According to police, Brody Shelton was last seen around noon Thursday near the intersection of Laporte Street and Johnston Street in Highland. Officials said he was riding a bicycle when he disappeared.
As the search continues, Indiana State Police have issued a Silver Alert for Shelton.
Police described Shelton as being 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a beige and green sweatshirt and riding a blue-and-green Huffy mountain bike.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about Shelton’s whereabouts to contact the Highland Police Department at 219-838-3184 or call 911.
The search remains ongoing.
