ILLINOIS — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing southern Illinois man who may be endangered.
According to the sheriff’s office, 48-year-old Richard McCarroll was last seen leaving his home in rural Murphysboro around 8 a.m. Friday, May 8.
Investigators said McCarroll walked away in an unknown direction wearing a gray shirt and khaki shorts.
Authorities said McCarroll suffers from medical conditions that place him at risk.
