
ALABAMA — Authorities are searching for a missing 14-year-old boy with special needs in Shelby County.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the teenager was last seen around 1 a.m. on June 1 in the Westover-Vandiver area near Highway 55. Officials have not released the boy’s name.
The sheriff’s office said the teenager has special needs and is asking for the public’s help in locating him.
A photo released by authorities shows the missing boy with long brown hair.
Anyone who sees the teenager or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
The search remains ongoing.
