ILLINOIS — A 13-year-old girl has been reported missing in southern Illinois, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Authorities say Hope L. Ballard, 13, was last seen on April 30, 2026, in Salem, Illinois. No additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance were immediately released.
The case is being investigated by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with information about Ballard’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at (618) 548-2141 or call the NCMEC 24-hour hotline at 1-800-843-5678. Tips can also be submitted online through the organization’s website.
