TENNESSEE — The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 71-year-old man who was last seen leaving on a motorcycle ride in East Tennessee.
According to the sheriff’s office, Marty Pellasama was last seen riding his motorcycle and may be either in North Carolina or still in Cocke County.
Investigators said Pellasama could possibly be in the Paint Creek, Hurricane Gap, Hot Springs or Martha Sundquist areas.
Authorities also said he has a medical condition, raising concerns for his safety.
Several agencies are assisting in the search effort, including the Madison County and Greene County sheriff’s offices, emergency management agencies and volunteer fire departments.
Anyone with information about Pellasama’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office at 423-623-3064.
