GEORGIA — A crash involving a tractor-trailer shut down Interstate 985 southbound Wednesday morning just before Interstate 85, according to authorities.
Georgia State Patrol said the crash involved a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles. Officials did not immediately report any injuries.
Traffic cameras showed multiple emergency vehicles on the scene as of around 9:10 a.m., with crews working to clear the crash.
The closure caused significant traffic backups, with vehicles diverting off the interstate at Buford Drive and congestion extending toward the Hall County line.
No additional details have been released as the investigation continues.
