TENNESSEE — A multi-vehicle crash closed two lanes of Interstate 75 northbound in Ooltewah on Tuesday evening, causing significant traffic delays.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash occurred just before 5 p.m. on June 23 near mile marker 11.8.
As of 5:30 p.m., only one northbound lane remained open. TDOT reported traffic had backed up to the Bonny Oaks Drive area.
Officials have not released information on what caused the crash, and it is unclear whether anyone was injured.
Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and use caution.
