
GEORGIA — A crash on Interstate 75 in Monroe County has forced the closure of all southbound lanes Tuesday morning, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Officials said the crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. on I-75 south before High Falls Road near exit 193.
Authorities also reported a separate crash in the area affecting northbound lanes, which is believed to be related to the initial incident.
Traffic has come to a near standstill in both directions as emergency crews respond and work to clear the scene.
Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes to avoid significant delays.
