WISCONSIN — A crash has closed a portion of northbound Interstate 41 in Milwaukee on Wednesday morning.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, all northbound lanes of I-41 are currently closed between Silver Spring Drive and Appleton Avenue.
Officials have not released details about what caused the crash or whether anyone was injured.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while crews respond to the scene and work to clear the roadway.
The closure remains in effect as of Wednesday morning.
