FLORIDA — A crash has shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 4 near the Walt Disney World area, leading to major traffic delays Monday.

The crash occurred near Mile Marker 69, just south of Daryl Carter Parkway. Officials have not released details about what caused the crash or whether anyone was injured.

According to the Florida 511 traffic system, all westbound lanes are blocked in the area, and traffic has backed up for several miles, extending past State Road 528.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect significant delays and consider alternate routes until the scene is cleared. No estimate has been provided for when the westbound lanes will reopen.
