
MARYLAND — A man was taken into custody after allegedly stabbing another man during an argument in Montgomery County early Thursday morning, according to police.
Montgomery County police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews responded around 1:45 a.m. to the 12500 block of Georgia Avenue for a report of a stabbing.
Investigators said two intoxicated men became involved in an argument when one of them allegedly stabbed the other in the arm.
Police said the suspect was Tased by responding officers because he was actively resisting arrest. After being evaluated by fire rescue personnel at the scene, the suspect was taken into custody.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said the suspect is facing a charge of first-degree assault.
The incident remains under investigation.
