NORTH CAROLINA — The Wake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an overnight stabbing near Zebulon that left one man hospitalized.
Deputies responded to a stabbing call around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Traceway Drive near Zebulon, according to the sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from assault wounds. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said they are searching for a suspect, and no arrests have been made.
Authorities said there is no threat to the public and believe the incident was isolated and domestic-related.
The investigation remains ongoing.
