
VIRGINIA — A 21-year-old man was injured in a shooting early Monday morning in Norfolk, according to police.
Officers responded to the 2400 block of Early Street, near Sewells Point Road, at approximately 2:35 a.m. after receiving a report of a gunshot victim.
When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting. Authorities have not released information about a suspect or a possible motive.
