SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was injured in a shooting Friday afternoon at an apartment complex off Two Notch Road, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded around 2 p.m. to the 200 block of Atrium Way at the Atrium Place Apartments following reports of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found a victim who had been shot in the upper body. Authorities said deputies provided aid until emergency medical services personnel arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital.
The victim’s condition has not been released.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said its Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the shooting.
No information about a suspect or what led to the shooting was immediately available.
