PENNSYLVANIA — One person was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon in Clairton, according to authorities.
Allegheny County dispatchers said police and emergency medical crews were called to the 500 block of Third Street at approximately 2:57 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
The Allegheny County Police Department said detectives are investigating the incident.
Officials said one person was transported from the scene to a hospital. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been released.
No additional information about a suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting was immediately available.
