OHIO — A woman was seriously injured in a shooting on the East Side of Cleveland early Wednesday morning, according to emergency officials.
Paramedics responded around 4 a.m. to the area near the Cleveland Police Fourth District station on Kinsman Road.
Officials said a woman in her 20s suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
A man in his 40s was also taken to the hospital in stable condition, though his injuries were not caused by gunfire.
Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
