OHIO — A woman is in critical condition after a shooting on the south side of Columbus, according to authorities.
Police said gunfire was reported just before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Oakwood Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a serious gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Grant Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.
Due to the severity of her injuries, detectives are treating the case as a homicide investigation.
No motive has been released.
