MARYLAND — A 47-year-old man is recovering after being shot in west Baltimore late Monday night, according to police.
Officers responded at approximately 11:57 p.m. June 1 to the 1800 block of Clifton Avenue in the Mondawmin neighborhood following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities said the injury was not considered life-threatening.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been released. Detectives assigned to the Western District are continuing to investigate the incident.
