MARYLAND — Police are investigating a shooting early Sunday in Northwest Baltimore after a man arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds.
According to Baltimore police, officers responded around 12:40 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the 3100 block of W. North Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting but did not locate any victims or suspects at the scene.
While police were canvassing the area, a 36-year-old man walked into a nearby hospital seeking treatment for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Investigators later determined the man had been shot on W. North Avenue.
Northwest District shooting detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
