INDIANA — A woman in her 20s was injured in an early morning shooting in South Bend, according to police.
Officers with the South Bend Police Department said the shooting happened around 5 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Huey Street on the city’s northwest side.
Police said the woman drove herself to a hospital after being shot. She was treated for her injuries and later released.
The department’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident. As of now, no suspect information has been released.
