
ALABAMA — One person was injured in a shooting late Thursday night in Dothan, Alabama, and police are searching for the suspect.
According to the Dothan Police Department, officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 800 block of Memphis Street.
When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said no arrests have been made, and investigators are actively searching for the suspect.
Authorities also said there is no immediate or ongoing threat to the community. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
