
SOUTH CAROLINA — A man was injured in a shooting Monday evening behind a restaurant in Darlington County, according to police.
Officers with the Darlington Police Department responded around 6 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the area of Pearl Street. When they arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Authorities said the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
Police indicated there is no immediate danger to the public. Additional agencies were called in to assist with processing the scene as the investigation continues.
