
WISCONSIN — Authorities in Washington County are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian and killed a dog Monday night.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on April 20 along Hillcrest Drive in West Bend.
Investigators said a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hillcrest Drive after turning from Nabob Drive struck both a pedestrian and a dog. The driver then continued eastbound and left the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. The dog died at the scene.
Authorities believe the suspect vehicle is a silver or gray 2019 to 2022 Chevrolet 1500 or 2500 pickup truck.
