OHIO — Detectives are investigating after a man reported being stabbed Thursday night while taking his dogs outside at his home.
The victim spoke with police around 9 p.m. from a hospital after being taken there by a private vehicle.
The man told officers he was in the driveway of his home on Catalina Avenue when he noticed a man walking toward Wirt Street who appeared suspicious. The man approached him, and the victim began walking away before feeling something strike his back.
The victim told police he reached back, noticed blood and realized he had been stabbed.
Police said the victim called a relative, who drove him to the hospital for treatment. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
