
OHIO — A person was airlifted to a hospital following a shooting early Saturday morning in Bryan, according to the Bryan Police Department.
Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 3 a.m. in the 200 block of South Street. Investigators reported that the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg after being shot by an unknown suspect or suspects.
The victim was initially transported to Bryan Community Hospital before being airlifted to Mercy Health–St. Vincent Medical Center. Authorities said the injuries are not considered life-threatening.
At this time, police have not released a description of the suspect or suspects, and investigators do not know how they fled the area.
The incident remains under investigation.
