TENNESSEE — A man died after a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in the Hickory Hill area of Memphis, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Police said officers responded at approximately 4:25 a.m. to the 6700 block of Winchester Road near Kirby Parkway after receiving reports of a one-vehicle crash.
The driver, an adult man, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Authorities said he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim’s identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the crash has not been disclosed, and the incident remains under investigation.
